WITTON Street Dental Practice is inviting patients to an open day on Saturday, October 10, to give them the chance to meet new dentist Chris Ryan.

Chris is joining the Northwich practice following the retirement in August of Steve Yarwood, who had been at the practice for 33 years.

Chris qualified in 2008 from the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield, and has been teaching undergraduates recently at the dental hospital in Sheffield.

“As Chris is joining us we have decided to have an open day on October 10, between 10am and midday, to give patients the chance to meet him before their next appointment,” said a practice spokesperson.

“Everyone at the practice is looking forward to working with Chris.

“We have also undergone some refurbishment in the past 12 months, creating a modern and light waiting area as well as increasing the number of surgeries.

“We will be holding a raffle at the practice during the days running up to the open day and on the day itself, with all the proceeds going to St Luke’s Hospice. We are also having competitions and prizes for children.

“Steve Yarwood had many patients who had been with him for 20 years. When he left he received a large number of cards, letters and messages from patients wishing him well in his retirement.”
