WALKERS scaled Snowdon to help a Northwich charity mark the start of International Childhood Cancer Month.
Around 40 people from across Cheshire and Manchester donned silly socks on the first weekend of September for the climb, which was organised to raise awareness of The Joshua Tree and the support it offers to families affected by childhood cancer.
Sara Wheater, from the charity, said: "It was overwhelming to see the support we received from walkers and families across Cheshire and Manchester who travelled to Snowdon on the Sunday.
"Despite the drizzle, the atmosphere was great and we took #snowdonsillysocks selfies all the way up and down to raise awareness of the event and The Joshua Tree. "It’s definitely a challenge we’ll want to set again next year when we celebrate our 10th anniversary."
