A MAN was taken to hospital after he was seriously injured in a violent disturbance in Lostock Gralam on Saturday.
Police received reports of a disturbance involving a group of men outside an address in Manchester Road, near the Slow and Easy pub, at 6.44pm.
A 41-year-old Northwich man was taken to Leighton Hospital with a serious wound to his arm while four men, aged 18, 39, 30 and 29, and a 16-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
All have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
