WASTE plant plans will be explained and examined at a meeting and a series of exhibitions in Northwich.

Ian Crummack, from DONG Energy, will give a talk and answer questions at the next Rotary Club of Northwich special speaker meeting and lunch on September 7.

He will talk about the REnescience Northwich, the company's proposal for a bioresource facility at Lostock Gralam, followed by a question and answer session.

Doors open at 11.45am with lunch at 12.30pm and the talk at 1.15pm.

There is a charge of £7.50 to cover the cost of lunch.

A second round of public exhibitions during September will show how the project has been changed following the first public exhibitions in July.

Updated site plans will also be presented together with an indication of how the development would look from Manchester Road.

Exhibitions will be held on at Rudheath Sports and Social Club, in Middlewich Road, from 2pm to 7.30pm on September 10, at Lostock Gralam Community Centre, in Stubbs Lane, from 2pm to 7.30pm on September 11 and at Northwich Memorial Court, in Chesterway, from 10am to 4pm on September 12.
