THE team at Northwich Ford dealership, Evans Halshaw, is honouring a team member who is celebrating 40 years of service at the dealership on Chester Way.

Paul Cragg, joined Evans Halshaw Northwich on July 21, 1976 as an apprentice, when the UK’s favourite Ford Fiesta was first produced and worked his way up to become a Workshop Controller, the position he still holds to this day.

After years of working at the dealership, Paul has built some wonderful relationships with team members and customers alike, yet still likes the fact that no two days are the same.

“The past 40 years have completely flown by, but I have enjoyed every moment," he said.

"The site is the best it has been since I started working here and I would like to say a massive thank you to my team members who have made working here for the past four decades so enjoyable; my long standing service is a testament to how much fun my time here has been so far.

"Here’s to the next 40 or so, years!”

To celebrate Paul’s long standing service, the team presented him with a long standing service award during a small ceremony, as well as a few vouchers for him to spend on a commemorative gift for himself.

Lee Swindells, dealer principal at Evans Halshaw Northwich, said: “I would like to say a huge thank you to Paul for his continuous hard work over the past forty years.

"He has been a key member of our team for such a long time and has ensured plenty of customers have driven away happy!

"We look forward to more years with Paul and hope he has enjoyed his time with us so far as much as we have with him.”
