STAR Wars fan Mitch Brown is looking to run another competition in the run-up to Christmas following the success of a colouring challenge.

Mitch sells Star Wars action figures and collectables at Darth’s Hutt at Northwich indoor market.

He ran a colouring competition to design new colours for a Stormtrooper helmet, offering more than £50 worth of Star Wars goodies for the winner.

The competition attracted 13 entries, and was won by five-year-old George Bundy from Northwich.

“I rang George's parents to tell them he'd won, and they came along last Saturday with George and his grandparents," said Mitch.

"His parents hadn't told George he had won, and he was excited and very happy when he found out,” said Mitch.

“He won a lightsaber, some action figures and other goodies.

“The children who entered were aged from four to 14, and the entries were judged by near neighbours of mine.

“The entries are pinned on my stall, and I will leave them up for a few weeks.

“I am thinking of having another competition near Christmas.”

The new Star Wars film, The Force Awakens, is due for release on December 18.

Mitch’s stall is open on market days, and for more information visit his Darths Hutt facebook page or www.darthshutt.co.uk.
