JESSICA Boardman is hoping to trace a Good Samaritan to thank him for coming to her grandparents’ rescue.

“My granddad, who is almost 88, and my grandma, who is almost 90, had fallen in Northwich on Thursday, July 16,” said Jessica.

“They were unable to get back up until a stranger came to their rescue.

“My grandma said he had white hair and wasn't young or too old.

“He had managed to get them both to their feet, and walked them to their car with their shopping.

“As my grandad said he was fine and didn't require an ambulance, the stranger went on his way.

“I live two and a half hours away, and find it very comforting that someone could help my grandparents.

“I would love to say thank you, as I know my grandparents would too, as my grandad ended up in Warrington Hospital the day after with pneumonia, amongst other injuries.”
