MORE than 1,400 miles will be covered by coach this year to provide enjoyment for older people across Cheshire.
Age UK Cheshire's coach trip programme is proving popular this year, with destinations like Bridgemere Garden Centre, Salford Quays and The Lowry Centre, Lake Windermere and the World War 2 Experience in Llandudno on the list.
Caroline Condliffe, social activities officer and organiser of the coach trips, said: "The coach trips we organise and operate get more and more popular each year.
"We know we have a lot of satisfied and regular customers, they tell us so.
"With half of all users going on at least six coach trips a year, and a further 20 per cent going as often as they can, our coach trips are very popular and often fully booked.
"Users tell us it’s the mix of the destinations we choose and the social environment we produce that makes the trips such a winner."
Pick up points are in Hartford, Middlewich, Northwich and Crewe.
The next trip is to Skipton on August 26, with trips planned to Southport and Bakewell in the following months, plus a Christmas meal later in the year.
