HOUSEBUILDER Taylor Wimpey Manchester teamed up with Little Weavers Day Nursery for a tree planting event at its Winnington Village development in Northwich.

The planting took place to coincide with World Nature Conservation Day on July 28, which raises awareness of wildlife preservation and protecting the natural environment.

Natasha Kirkwood, manager at Little Weavers Day Nursery, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Taylor Wimpey on this exciting initiative – and for such a good cause.

“We know how important it is to teach our children the importance of protecting the environment from a young age, making the tree planting activity perfect.”

Little Weavers Day Nursery was established in 2012, serves Northwich and surrounding areas and is near Taylor Wimpey’s Winnington Village.

Chloe Dunn, associate sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey Manchester, said: “Protecting the environment is at the forefront of our ethos, and this is something we were keen to educate the children of Northwich about.

“The tree planting exercise with Little Weavers was a lot of fun, and we’re glad the group enjoyed the experience.”

Natasha added: “It’s been great working with Taylor Wimpey on such a worthwhile cause, and we hope to partner with the company again in the not too distant future.”
