YEAR 10 pupils at the University of Chester Academy Northwich were given an insight into a career at Tata Chemicals Europe at a careers fair at the school.
“It was really interesting to hear about students’ career goals, and we were delighted to be able to offer advice on how to achieve those goals,” said a TATA spokesman.
“Our company comprises many different job functions, from chemistry and engineering to IT and business development, so it was a pleasure to be invited along.
“Our Energy Graduate Jaleh was invited by the teachers to give a separate impromptu talk to year seven students about TCE’s commitment to preserving the environment, her day-to-day job, and how she got to where she is today.
“That went down really well and the pupils had lots of interesting questions about the environment.”
