Open gardens date error
AN OPEN garden event in Whitley is not taking place on Sunday, July 5, as advertised in this week's Guardian.
The event, in aid of the Alzheimer's Society, took place on Sunday, June 28, and saw more than 670 visitors pass through nine stunning gardens in the village.
The Open Garden Day raised £6,850 for charity.
The Guardian apologises for any inconvenience caused.
