ALISON Lindsay is celebrating a major award for an organisation offering French and Spanish language classes for children.
Alison, from Hartford, is a licensee for La Jolie Ronde Languages for Children, which won Best National Activity for five to 12 year-olds for the second year running in the What’s On 4 Juniors Awards 2015.
Alison runs French and Spanish classes for five to 12-year-olds in the Northwich area with her tutors Sally Dodson and Anna Purves.
She said: “We are absolutely delighted to win this Award for the second year running. It makes it even more special as it’s the parents and children who have voted for us.
“My classes are designed to encourage a positive approach to language learning, and the emphasis isn’t on reading and writing the language but on speaking, repetition and simply having fun.”
Alison runs classes at Kingsmead, Davenham, Hartford Manor and St Wilfrid’s primary schools.
