Cheshire Constabulary are urging rural communities to have their say about their policing needs.
The survey, which is being run by the National Rural Crime Network, will aim to uncover the impact of crime on rural areas.
Police & Crime Commissioner John Dwyer explained how his plan for Cheshire places a ‘great importance’ on reducing rural crime.
Commissioner Dyer said: “Crime in a rural area can bring the community to a halt, especially when this crime is committed against a rural business.
“I want to hear from you to see how the Constabulary can continue to make Cheshire an inhospitable place for rural criminals.”
Chief Constable Simon Byrne has also urged people to get involved with the survey saying that the police ‘cannot be complacent’ about tackling rural crime.
He said: ““I’d encourage everyone to take a few minutes and fill in the survey. It’s an important step towards delivering a better service to our communities.”
