Water burst on Oakmere Road in Winsford
A WATER pipe has burst on a busy Winsford road.
A lane closure will be put in place on the A54 Oakmere Road after rush hour today, Thursday.
This will be on the inside land of the westbound carriageway between the Swanlow Lane junction and the Browning Way roundabout.
Motorists are warned that the lane closure may still be in place tomorrow morning, Friday, so there could be some disruption during the morning peak time.
United Utilities are currently at the site and Cheshire West and Chester Council's area highways team is liaising with the company about works and traffic management.
