POLICE are hunting a sex attacker who raped a woman in her home after they met in a club.
The 38-year-old was assaulted in her flat in Glasgow's West End by a man she met in the Polo Lounge in the city centre.
The pair left the club together and walked down Glassford Street where they hailed a taxi.
They travelled to the woman's home in Partick where she was subjected to a brutal sex attack in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The suspect is described as around 5ft 10in, slim to muscular build with brown hair.
He was wearing light blue jeans and a dark-coloured jacket. Police are studying CCTV images in a bid to identify the man and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
The victim has short blonde hair and was wearing a distinctive pink and white pinstripe shirt.
Detective Sergeant Monica Hagerty of Glasgow West End Police Office, said: "I would like to appeal to anyone who saw the couple in Glassford Street shortly after one o'clock on Saturday morning, as they may have information that is vital to this inquiry."
