MEDIEVAL crafts and Viking tales will be brought to life at a Northwich museum this Easter.

Weaver Hall Museum and Workhouse, in London Road, is holding a series of activity days during the school break.

Visitors can make medieval tiles and egg monks and and hear stories about life at Vale Royal Abbey from 10am to 4pm on Wednesday, April 8, and Thursday, April 9.

Then on Wednesday, April 15, and Thursday, April 16, families can learn about life as a Viking, including what clothes they wore, what food they ate and what weapons they used, and they can make a Viking shield.

Visitors can drop-in at any time and activities are included in the normal admission price or £3 for adults, £1.50 for children and £2 for concessions.
