A MAN whose body was recovered from docks in Methil, Fife, on Friday
has been named as Mr Robert Samson, 52, self-employed painter, of Main
Street, Thornton, Fife. Detectives investigating the murder of divorcee
Georgie Weir found his body in a red Metro car used by the 39-year-old
mother of two.
Mr Samson is known to have had a relationship with insurance office
manageress Mrs Weir. She was found dead in her home in Brent Place,
Glenrothes, on Thursday by police acting on a tip-off.
