A LEADING businessman yesterday was given the task of preparing the
Tories for a fifth election victory. Mr Paul Judge, 43, formerly of
Cadbury Schweppes, was appointed to the new post of director-general of
the party organisation. He has been moved into Tory headquarters as part
of the package of managerial reforms promised by party chairman Sir
Norman Fowler.
