Bomb disposal experts were called out twice in the space of a few hours after mines became snagged in the nets of two fishing boats only a few miles apart. Coastguards instructed the crew of the Pittenweem-based Tamarlyn to drop her dangerous catch off the coast near St Monans, and the Navy detonated it.
