A girl fled Ayr Sheriff Court in tears yesterday branded as possibly the youngest female in Britain to be banned for drink driving. While her parents were not at home 15-year-old schoolgirl Julie Doolan downed glasses of apple schnapps before stealing their car from the house at Ayr's Somerset Road. She demolished a garden wall and then drove for a mile before stalling in a park. Police found she was nearly three times over the limit. She was banned from driving for three years in addition to being put on probation for three years. Doolan, now 16, is now living in an Ayr flat.
