TIME is running out for buyers looking for incentives at Tay Homes developments in central Scotland. The company has set a deadline of June 23 for a choice of purchaser packages available on certain properties.

Buyers completing contracts before that date can choose from three options: part exchange; a 4.99% mortgage, fixed until August 1999; or the company's move-in package which provides up to #5000 for legal fees or carpets and furnishings for the new property

Sales and marketing director Iain Stewart says: ''Although we believe the house market is definitely improving, we are still sensitive to the pressures new home-buyers are under, especially if they have a property to sell. So now - for a limited period - purchasers can benefit from all three options, on selected properties.''

Tay Homes recently opened new showhomes at three of its Lanarkshire developments - Airdrie, East Kilbride, and Larkhall.

Caldercraig View is just off Airdrie's Petersburn Road and has one of the company's widest selection of homes. The properties range in size from a two-bedroom semi-detached home to four-bedroom detached villas. Prices start from #53,250.

There are only 11 flats left for sale at The Crescents, Tay's development at Stewartfield in East Kilbride. The development includes two-bedroomed flats which have as much space as four-bedroom detached homes.
