FAMILIES are being given chance to explore a secret garden near Northwich through the magic of fairy tales.
Arley Hall – setting for Disney’s Evermoor TV series – opens its Fairy Tales and Trails summer event on Sunday, March 22, with a day of fun and adventure.
“Arley’s gardens have something magical about them and children love to explore the various nooks and crannies,” said general manager Steve Hamilton.
“There really is something of ‘The Secret Garden’ about Arley so we have embraced that feeling this year to give children even more reason to visit.”
Arley’s adventure playground – complete with zip wire, sandpit, swings and slides – will be open on March 22 and fun food boxes will be on sale in the Tudor Barn Restaurant.
Children will also be able to explore the gardens by unravelling some fairy tale clues that will lead them to willow creatures that have now made Arley their home.
“It means everyone can appreciate our gardens on some level from children to their grandparents,” said Steve.
“We also welcome dogs on a lead so the whole family can visit and enjoy a stroll around the formal gardens or wander through the Woodland Walk.”
Fairy Tales and Trails launches at Arley on Sunday, March 22, when you can visit between 11am and 5pm.
Tickets are £15 – including the Fairy Tale clues and gardens – for two adults and three children or £10 if you book in advance by calling 01565 777353.
