SUNDAY’S double-header with Toulouse and Hull KR will not be Warrington Wolves’ players last chance to impress before the Super League season.

Wolves face Toulouse at 1pm, before Chris Bridge's Testimonial game against Hull KR at 3.30pm.

Tony Smith said it may be the final chance to show what they can do in a match, but his coaching staff are also closely monitoring the squad’s approach to training.

“Certainly the weekend is going to give everybody an opportunity to impress on the park, show what they’ve been able to practice and train like,” he explained.

“It’s a chance to show some stuff, but we’ll still make decisions based on how people approach, train and prepare for the opening game.

“Everybody will be playing this weekend against either Hull KR or Toulouse. Everybody’s in good shape so we’re in a good position at the moment.”
