RESIDENTS are being urged to fight housing plans that will go before a public inquiry.
The proposal for 113 new homes at Hill Top Farm, in Kingsmead, were turned down by Cheshire West and Chester Council (CWAC) in October on the grounds that it would be development in open countryside.
Applicants Russell Homes, Robert Matthews and Mr and Mrs Igoe have now appealed against this decision to the planning inspectorate.
The deadline for comments is Tuesday, January 27.
Cllr Helen Weltman, from CWAC and Kingsmead Parish Council, said: "This proposal doesn't impact on individuals but will have an impact on the A556 and the area."
The land is between Kingsmead and the A556, with access off the A556, and next to Poors Wood, an area of ancient woodland.
