ASHTON Sims is loving life in Warrington and cannot wait to get into action at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Sunday.
“I’m really glad I made the move over,” he said. “The kids have settled into school, the wife’s into a routine, so we’re really happy.”
Having met many fans at community events, Sims is excited to witness the match-day crowd.
“Community is everything in rugby league,” he explained. “It’s what keeps us going. I’ll never say no to someone as I know how important they are to rugby league.
“As much as I can, I do anything for the community and charities, so it’ll be nice to go out and give them a good applause ahead of 2015.”
And the father-of-three is ready for a first Christmas in Appleton: “I was saying at training, usually I’m complaining about how hot it is. We’re looking forward to it. We may get a bit of snow, who knows.”
