SANTA called in at Wharton C of E Primary School on a novel form of transport – a double decker bus.
Luke, the refurbished St Luke’s Hospice bus, visited the school as part its Santa on Tour programme, during which it visits schools, nurseries and community events.
The bright red bus features a Santa’s grotto, and Father Christmas chatted with all the Wharton Primary children and gave them all a present for their classes.
All the children went home with a Luke Money Box, and will be collecting their spare pennies for the hospice.
The bus has attended the Christmas lights switch-ons in Winsford, Middlewich and Sandbach, and the Victorian market in Hartford.
The hospice is always looking for drivers for the bus, and if you feel you could handle taking Luke out around the lanes of Cheshire please call Simon on 01606 555825, or email warehouse@stlukes-hospice.co.uk.
