A MAN from Northwich has been banned from the town centre for two years after being convicted for begging.
Jamie Lee Tomlinson, 23, has been issued with a two-year criminally sought anti-social behaviour order (CRASBO).
The CRASBO stops him entering Northwich Retail Park, in Manchester Road, Tesco supermarket, in Manchester Road, and the Co-op store, in Chesterway, as well as the town centre.
It also prevents him from approaching members of the public for the purposes of begging in any of the defined areas.
Tomlinson was sentenced for three charges of begging in August but proceedings were adjourned to consider making an anti-social behaviour order.
The order was initially issued to Tomlinson at West Cheshire Magistrates' Court on October 26.
Breaching the CRASBO could result in a fine or five years' imprisonment.
