A NEW riverside housing development will launch to the public this month to give people an idea of what is on offer.

The McCarthy and Stone assisted living development at Hayhurst Quay is nearing completion and will be launched at Hartford Golf Club on November 25.

The new build, called Marbury Court, is made up of 57 one and two bedroom assisted living apartments designed for people aged over 70.

Fiona Brooks, regional sales and marketing director for McCarthy & Stone, said “Assisted living offers the independence of retaining home ownership while living in an apartment with flexible domestic and personalised care packages.

"Marbury Court, our new development in Northwich, is designed to ensure over 70s can enjoy a rich, rewarding and fulfilling life.

"We’re inviting anyone interested to come down to our sales launch to find out more.”

The development, next to Waitrose, features a range of facilities, including a table service restaurant, homeowners lounge, rooftop terrace and flexible domestic and personalised care packages.

Ken Clemens, chief executive at Age UK Cheshire, said: “We welcome this new assisted living development to Northwich, which will provide greater choice and support to people aged over 70, their family and carers.

"Assisted living enables homeowners to continue living independently in their own home with the support of flexible and personalised care.”

Marbury Court will also have an estates manager and on-site staff.

Representatives from McCarthy & Stone, including Colin Cuthbert, a benefits advisor, and Julie Carter, the professional advisor at Marbury Court, will be available to answer questions at the launch event.

Visitors will also receive information on apartment specifications and pricing. Presentations will take place at 11am, 2pm and 4pm.
