The Rotary club of Northwich has chosen Dr Garnet Ronander as its new president for the 2014/2015 term.

Dr Garnet Ronander hails from South Africa. He moved to the UK with his wife Debbie, who grew up in Northwich, and their two sons, Damian and Cole.

He joined the Northwich Rotary Club six years ago and has been involved in many great community projects.

Garnet is a financial adviser and heads up Ubuntu Wealth Management. He also teaches Taekwondo in Barnton on weekends under the Blue Dragon Taekwondo club banner.

He is passionate about Rotary and all the good work it does for the local community.

This year Garnet would like to focus on growing the Northwich Rotary club as well as ensuring that the ability of the club to help good causes is extended within the Northwich community.
