SHOPPERS have raised concerns about a Northwich supermarket car park following a collision between a delivery lorry and a car on Thursday, August 21.

Reader Leneh Buckle sent in this photograph of the aftermath of the incident, which is believed to have involved a milk lorry and happened at Aldi, in Leicester Street, at about 10am.

She said: "I was at the checkout when a woman, who had been in the car, came in looking for her husband.

"A lot of people said they were really concerned about the way that car park is laid out because there's lorries going straight through it."

An Aldi spokesperson said: “Aldi’s customers are its number one priority and we take the health and safety of everyone at our stores extremely seriously.

"It is unusual for us to experience incidents of this nature.

“There are currently discussions ongoing between both parties’ insurance companies, and as such it would inappropriate to comment further at this stage.”
