A BAKE off was a roaring success when it raised more than £500 for mid Cheshire charities.

Penny Tatt, a member of Vale Royal Lions, organised a cake and coffee fund day for fellow lions and friends, raising £523.50.

There was a large selection of cakes on offer with tea and coffee.

The money will go to the Lion’s charity fund, which is used to support the mid Cheshire community.
