WAITROSE Partners have been busy baking cakes for a fundraiser for an appeal for Amelia Hill.

Amelia’s mum Zoe works in customer services at the Northwich store, which has been holding a Great Bake Sale.

The money raised will go towards an appeal to fund special trips for Amelia, who was born with serious heart defects.

The sale was organised by customer services supervisor Zoe Cadman, who is a friend of the family, and Partners were invited to bake or buy a cake, or both.

One of the cakes was made by Zoe Cadman, and features the phrase #ameliasjourney, which people can visit online to find out about fundraising events taking place.

Kanya Cafe Bar and Bistro in Northwich High Street is supporting the appeal for Amelia.

Until today 50 per cent of every breakfast bill between 9am and 11.30am will be donated to the appeal, and staff are donating all their tips. In addition 10 per cent of every evening food bill today and tomorrow will go to the appeal.
