A POETRY exhibition filling Northwich town centre and three parks is drawing to a close this weekend.
Writer Charlotte Peters Rock has covered a range of topics in her work, which fills otherwise empty shop windows in the town centre.
These include the two world wars, lifeboat heroism, an Arctic love story, tales of childhood, animals and a range of world history, The poems, as well as a laminated series at Verdin and Church Walk parks will be removed from display on July 13.
Work at Vickersway Park, also known as Roker Park, will remain until after the community fun day on August 2.
This work will regularly change throughout the month.
Charlotte said: “It is good to hear the favourable comments of so many people who have taken the time to read and enjoy my work, and that of Church Walk School and University of Chester Academy, which I have also had the privilege of displaying.
“Our town centres must remain as vibrant and welcoming spaces to meet friends, shop locally and live well.
“This is my part in that process.”
