PLASTIC cups, newspapers and J Cloths provided the inspiration for a novel cat walk show at Barnton Community Primary School.
Year six pupils took part in a fashion show for open day visitors, wearing outfits they created from a range of recycled materials with the help of staff.
The day was attended by prospective and current parents and children from Rosebank School, and included circus skills, a science workshop and a fencing session.
There was also a performance of Macbeth by year five pupils and a musical performance from children from different age groups.
“The aim of the day was to show to the current parents everything their children have been learning and taking part in throughout the year, not just academically,” said Higher Level Teaching Assistant Gayle Thompson.
