CHESHIRE Falconry left their usual base in Sandiway to treat guests at the Nunsmere Hall Hotel in Oakmere to a falconry exhibition and a ‘walk on the wild side’.
The hotels grounds were transformed into an action-packed destination for adventure seekers who also experienced the joys of the ancient sport of falconry.
Cheshire Falconry allowed the hotel guests to work hands-on with various birds of prey including falcons, owls and even a white tailed sea eagle during the event.
Steve Birchall, Cheshire Falconry manager, said: “It was a huge success and the feedback today suggests there is considerable demand for what we can offer.
“All our staff are highly trained and experienced and were able to guide visitors safely through the range of activities on offer.
“For us, it was a great opportunity to make people aware of the fun activities which we can provide at a host of locations and it was great to be able to showcase this at a venue like Nunsmere Hall.”
Other activities were also on offer for guests at the hotel including archery and clay pigeon shooting.
