THE Youth Ambassador for Cheshire Dominic Rogers has thanked the dedication given by volunteers under the age of 25.
There are a variety of volunteering opportunities available to young people within Cheshire Constabulary, the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner (OPCC), and the wider community. The OPCC has volunteers ranging from 8-24 years of age, who form the Seek & Speak group.
Dominic Rogers said "The enthusiasm shown by our young volunteers is fantastic. They all work really hard in their various roles, setting a great example to their peers. I work closely with the Seek & Speak group and it’s refreshing to harness the eagerness of the young people who want to make a difference and bridge the gap between themselves and the police."
Other volunteering opportunities available in the police service include; the Police Cadet programme and the Special Constabulary.
