Animal rescue fundraiser ramble tomorrow

A RESCUE ramble will take place at Marbury Country Park in Northwich on Saturday to raise funds for dogs that have been rescued.

There will be a guided family dog walk at 2pm as well as tombola, cake stall, dog biscuit stall and guess the name of the dog competition.

Finding Furever Homes is dedicated to the rehoming of dogs in rescue and has the motto ‘making a difference, one dog at time’.

Entry is £5 and proceeds go to the charity.

I think this worthy effort should be supported.

We should do all we can to take stray dogs off the street.

Its not fair that people get puppy dogs for Christmas then abandon them when they get too big to care for.

Don't get me started on the mess that this causes on the streets, but things have improved lately with the invention of the dog scoop.
