SWASHBUCKLING adventures took place in Northwich, when pirates of all ages invaded one of the town’s visitor attractions.

Weaver Hall Museum, in London Road, was overrun by the scourge of the seven seas at two pirate days.

The museum trained new recruits in the arts of making pirate hats and parrots with flapping wings, treasure hunting, sword fighting and firing a cannon, with the ever-present threat of walking the plank hanging over the heads of visitors.
