So it's 'Emmerdale' now is it?

I remember when it was 'Emmerdale Farm' it was much better then with thoroughly believable characters like Amos and Mr Wilks (Henry), who used to run the Wool Pack as it should have been run.
The meddlers had to go and change it and ruined it in the process!
If it 'ain't broken' it soon will be by meddlers who should leave well alone.
If you want to have a flavour of just how good Emmerdale Farm was before the meddlers got hold of it you can still get the books on ebay, very reasonable and a very good educational read on country life in the Dales.
