PUBLISHING, crime, and humour with Sunny Ormonde are the themes of the final week of Northwich LitFest.
Myriad Publishers will be at Davenham Players Theatre, in Church Street, on Monday, June 23, talking about how to get your novel published.
This will be hosted by Laura Lockington and guests will be Eleanor Crawforth, marketing manager at Myriad Editions Publishers, Nina de la Mer, author of '4am' and the critically acclaimed 'Layla', and playwright Hannah Vincent, whose first novel, 'Alarm Girl', was shortlisted for the 2013 Hookline Novel Competition.
Laura Lockington is also hosting ‘Dark and Stormy – an Evening of Crime’ at Davenham Players Theatre with writers Julia Crouch and Erin Kelly at 7.30pm on Wednesday, June 25, Julia’s widely acclaimed first novel Cukoo resulted in a three book deal with Headline and deals around the world.
'Cuckoo' was followed by 'Every Vow You Break', 'Tarnished' and 'The Long Fall'.
Erin is author of 'The Poison Tree', a Richard and Judy Summer Read and ITV drama, 'The Sick Rose', 'The Burning Air' and 'The Ties that Bind'.

Crime writer Ian McFadyen will appear at Sandiway Library in a free event at 7.30pm on Thursday, June 26.
He is the author of the Inspector Carmichael series and has four published novels 'Little White Lies', 'Lillia’s Diary', 'Frozen To Death' and 'Deadly Secrets'.
The LitFest finishes with the return of Sunny Ormonde from The Archers, following her sell-out appearance last year.
This year she will be performing Larkin’ About, directed by Sue Wilson, at the Harlequin Theatre, in Queen Street, at 7.30pm on Saturday, June 28.
She will be joined on stage by John Telfer and The Antonius Players, exploring the world of Philip Larkin.
