PIRATES are planning to take over a Northwich museum in a two-day invasion during half term.
Weaver Hall Museum, in London Road, will be training new recruits in the arts of making pirate hats and parrots with flapping wings, treasure hunting, sword fighting and firing a cannon on Wednesday, May 28, and Thursday, May 29, with the ever-present threat of walking the plank.
The museum’s education team will be dressed as pirates for the days and invite visitors to come in costume if they like to dress up too.
The activities will run from 10am to 4pm each day and are included in the usual museum admission price.
