A MID Cheshire charity has teamed up with an up-and-coming urban music duo to encourage shoppers to help good causes.
Winsford-based Care2Save.co.uk is working with musicians Click22 to produce a song for its innovative cause.
Care2Save.co.uk is an online portal allowing consumers to shop at their favourite high street stores while donating to their chosen charity at no extra cost.
The charity partnered up with Click22, two musicians from North Wales, after the pair were impressed by the charity’s ethos.
The track, ‘Go The Distance’, emphasises the importance of giving to charity and how by altering your shopping habits you can help make a difference.
Click22, made up of Owen ‘Prospekt’ Davies and Ceejay Morrison, will be taking part in this year’s Soccer Six event at Charlton Athletic and Leeds United as part of Soccer Six’s Next Generation line-up.
Andrea Fragata Ladeira, Care2Save.co.uk founder, said: “Click22 is a keen supporter of charitable causes and we are delighted that they created and recorded a song especially forCare2Save.co.uk.
“Prospekt and Ceejay have really understood what the charity stands for and for them to have put that into a song is amazing.”
