A REVAMP is planned for a busy town centre park that is in need of an update.
Residents are currently being asked their views about plans for Vickersway Park, also known locally as Roker Park.
Northwich Town Council is working with Proffitts – Investing in Communities to draw up plans and raise funds, which could include landfill tax money.
A consultation was held at the April Artisan Market and questionnaires will be delivered to houses in the area from May 5.
Chris Shaw, Northwich Town Council’s clerk, said: “We’re really looking forward to this.
“We will do our utmost to reflect what the community want and need in the final design, this will be carried out through informal conversations with users of the park.
“Improvements could be items such as a better play area, improved café site and better access to prolong stay.
“We will try our hardest to tap into any funding available and make this happen.”
Consultation is ongoing and open meetings for the community will take place later in the year.
