BARNTON Hill was alive with the sound of music during the latest performance by a dance school.
Children from the Sue Morgan School of Dance performed their version of classic musical ‘The Sound of Music’ as the culmination of a term's work.
The youngsters rehearse at Barnton Memorial Hall, where they performed their work for friends and family.
Next term the school will work on ‘Hairspray’.
Sue said: "Some of the children had asked me about ‘Hairspray’ this time but then others asked if we could do ‘The Sound of Music’.
"Some of them are properly into their musical theatre and like them all but if they're not real followers and just like singing and dancing they prefer the modern ones.
"It's a nice crowd."
Pupils Abigail and Grace Hilton are also celebrating after they were awarded merits in the Grade One Modern Dance exam at the Merseyside Dance and Drama School, in Liverpool.
