PUPILS at Weaverham High School raised more than £1,000 for Sport Relief when they held a non-uniform day and undertook other activities on Friday, March 21.
The non-uniform day held by the school had the theme of movies and consequently there were a number of superheroes on display, as well as several pupils dressed as nuns from the Sound of Music.
In addition to the non-uniform day Year 9 pupils also organised an indoor rowing relay race for Year 8 pupils.
Year 8 pupils were in teams of four and had to row a distance of one mile between them.
