TWO fire engines from Chester cut a woman out of a car following a crash in Delamere on Sunday evening.

The incident took place at 5.27pm where the A556 meets the A54 Chester Road.

Firefighters extricated a female casualty who was medically trapped following the collision that involved two saloon vehicles.

The roof was removed from the car and the casualty extricated on a long board.

She was then transported to hospital by ambulance.
