PUB regulars were surprised to see a motorbike in their local as a group celebrated being made official.

The Cheshire Cats section of the Vintage Motor Cycle Club (VMCC) welcomed international president Vic Blake to its latest meeting, along with his very rare 1904 French Auto-Fauteuil motorbike.

The Fauteuil, which translates as ‘armchair’, is one of less than 12 in the world and the only one which has an MOT, tax and is on the road.

The others are in continental museums.

The Cheshire Cats section, which had to serve a 12-month probationary period before it was made official, started with five breakaway members in 2012 and now has 60 members.
