BUS routes to Moulton will be discussed at a meeting planned for Thursday, February 27.
Villagers are concerned about cuts to bus services in the past year and have asked if existing routes could be altered to provide more buses for the village.
Parish councillors will meet with representatives from bus company Arriva to see if there are any options.
Clr Tony Rigby, council chairman, said: “We have a meeting with the guy that puts the routes in so we will have a good chat with him and see what we can get.”
The start of the New Year saw the latest round of cuts, which mean the 5.30pm number 31 and 31a bus is the last from Northwich town centre to Main Road on weekdays and Saturdays.
The last number 37 bus leaves Northwich at 9pm but stops at Beehive Corner and does not go into the village itself.
Parish councillors discussed investigating whether this route could be tweaked to include a stop further into Moulton.
