ONE of Britain’s oldest choirs will sing at a concert in Northwich in March.
Warrington Male Voice Choir will perform at St Helen’s Church on Saturday, March 8.
The choir, which can trace its roots back to 1898, has performed in prestigious venues across Great Britain, Ireland, Europe and North America.
It has won festival honours in regional, national and international competitions and aims to provide entertainment and enjoyment for audiences through a diverse musical repertoire.
St Helen’s Church, in Church Road, will hold its spring concert from 7.30pm.
Tickets, priced £5, are available from The Kitchen Garden, in Weaver Square, or by ringing 01606 45381.
Tickets will also be for sale during a sponsored abseil at the church for Christian Aid from 10am on Saturday, March 1.
