A GRADUATION parade will take place on Sunday, February 23, as new cadets celebrate completing their training.

The 146 (Northwich) Air Cadets will hold the parade at the University of Chester Academy Northwich (UCAN) then march back to Squadron HQ at Darwin Street, in Castle.

The parade, led by the Squadron Band, will be joined by Group Captain Allen, Officer Commanding all Air Cadet units in Wales and West Region.

It will form up on Blackhurst Street by the memorial hall car park and then march along Chesterway over Hayhurst Swing bridge.

It will turn left on to Castle Street and march through Castle turning left into Darwin Street.

The parade from the memorial hall will start at 11.30am and finish in Darwin Street at noon.

A statement from the squadron said: “We apologise but traffic will be delayed on this route for about 20 to 30 minutes, so if you are travelling in Northwich on this day, we thank you for your patience.

“You are cordially invited to watch the cadets march through Northwich back to the Squadron.”
